I have been practicing small animal primary care and emergency medicine since graduating from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Currently I am caring for dogs and cats in the emergency setting while pursing further education in pet hospice and palliative care.
I am comfortable treating and discussing wellness, medical issues, recent diagnoses, acute concerns, nutrition, quality of life and chronic medical conditions, quality of life, hospice care, create/balancing a palliative care plan and euthanasia.
My goal using mobile care is to provide compassionate patient care to those who have barriers at a traditional brick and mortar setting. Together we will create a plan to best help your special member of the family.
Mobile veterinary services provide an opportunity to observe and treat a patient in the comfort of their own home.
This method can reduce added anxiety that may mask an underlying issue. (i.e. adrenaline may inhibit a cough or lameness noted at home)
It provides a more comprehensive assessment and helps get a full view of who your pet is.
Owner/Caretakers are able to complete other tasks around the house instead of driving/waiting for their appointments.
Reduced exposure to other people and animals.
All clients are asked to provide a well-lit area, preferably with a rug or soft surface, where the veterinarian can examine your special family member.
Upon arrival the veterinarian will perform a physical exam, from nose to tail, discuss findings and create a treatment plan together.
If there is an indication for additional workup such as imaging, surgery or specialty services you will be directed to a list of full service veterinary facilities.
The majority of samples are submitted directly to a diagnostic laboratory. The owner/caretaker will be called using the phone number/email provided with diagnostic results when available.
